Who We Are

Chocolate Angels is a nonprofit organization founded by 12 Kenyan women living abroad. We are friends turned change-makers, united by a shared goal to uplift girls and women in rural Kenya and beyond.
Our Journey began in 2019 when we came together as a social group, supporting one another through family and work challenges. Over time, we realized we could extend our compassion and resources to others who need it most.
The story of a young girl who faced bullying after soiling her dress during her period deeply moved us. Her tragic passing reminded us of the importance of menstrual hygiene education and support. This moment inspired our mission.
We contribute resources to purchase and distribute sanitary pads to girls in rural Kenya, empowering them to stay in school and build brighter futures. By partnering with local networks, we ensure that every contribution makes a lasting impact.

What We Do

Menstrual Hygiene Support

Every girl deserves to manage her period with dignity. Through our menstrual hygiene support program, we provide free sanitary pads to girls in rural Kenya, ensuring they stay in school without fear of embarrassment or stigma. With your help, we can break the cycle of period poverty and empower young girls to focus on their education and dreams.

Education & Awareness

We believe that education is the key to lasting change. Beyond providing menstrual products, we conduct awareness campaigns to educate girls, boys, and communities about menstrual health, gender equality, and breaking harmful taboos. By fostering open conversations, we create a society where every girl can thrive without shame.

Community Engagement

Change begins with community. We work closely with local leaders, schools, and grassroots organizations to ensure our impact is meaningful and sustainable. By building partnerships and empowering communities, we create long-term solutions that uplift not just girls, but entire families and future generations.
